Low Tide Beer
Low Tide is a Cornwall based brewery specialised in the production of alcohol-free beer.
Since I was given an open brief, I decided to reflect on a question: how differently do we experience things when we don’t consume alcohol?

When we are sober, we are more able to listen to our inner voice, we are aware of our body, we can observe our thoughts peacefully and experience moments of conscious and authentic introspection. My illustration explores a moment of conversation between a character and their wiser self, not distorted or heightened by alcohol. I decided to paint a peaceful summer night, when gazing at the stars and the calm sea water leads to moments of introspection that can be enjoyed with a refreshing soft drink.
