The theme chosen by Antropedia for this project was sustainability, which perfectly aligned with the teachers' desire to transform the previously austere space into a more vibrant and engaging environment.
Together with Ioana Sabău, the other artist involved in the project, we designed the mural with the goal to present sustainability in an original and appealing way for the children. A few key elements were:
Kite Making: A fun recycling activity idea to inspire creativity and environmental consciousness.
Outdoor Observation: Depictions of nature exploration to foster empathy and respect for the environment.
Happy Farm: teaching children how to grow their own food and care for the animals that provide for them.
We ensured that the mural was created using sustainable paints provided by Natural Paints, a Bucharest-based atelier that specialises in 100% natural pigments derived from plant parts, rocks, and other natural sources.
Please note: for time limitations the picture where taken when the paint was not yet completely dry, but the shiny effect noticeable in some pictures disappears once the paint dries.
